For businesses

Commercial & industrial HVAC

Air conditioning and ventilation for offices, retail, hospitality and industrial sites, from a single floor to a rooftop plant.

Commercial buildings need more than a row of split units. Occupancy changes through the day, server rooms need cooling around the clock, kitchens and workshops need ventilation, and the system has to be maintainable without shutting the business down.

We assess the building and how it is used, recommend a system that suits the budget and the running costs, and keep it running with planned maintenance.

How it works

Commercial building HVACSection through a two-storey building: rooftop condensing units, ducted supply air on each floor, return air, fresh-air intake, extraction and a separately cooled server room.Rooftop condensing unitsDucted supply airReturn airFresh air inExtract outServer room, cooled separately
In larger buildings, cooling, fresh air and extraction work as one system, and rooms like server rooms often need their own.

What a commercial assessment looks at

The questions we answer before recommending a system for a building.

Cooling load
Heat from people, equipment, lighting and sun, room by room and through the day.
Zoning
Which areas need separate control, such as boardrooms, open-plan floors and server rooms.
Fresh air and extraction
How much outside air comes in, and where kitchens, toilets and workshops extract.
Plant position and access
Where outdoor units can go, structural and noise limits, and safe access for maintenance.
Running costs
Efficiency of the options and how the system will be maintained over its life.

Commercial HVAC questions

Can you maintain a system someone else installed?

Yes. We start with an inspection and report on the condition of the existing equipment, then set up a maintenance schedule.

Do you work outside business hours?

For commercial sites we can schedule work to limit disruption. Ask about it when you request a quote.

Talk to us about your building.

Send a few details and we will come back to you with next steps, or call and speak to a director directly.
